Carleton Martello Tower
Who says history isn’t cool? At Carleton Martello Tower National Historic Site of Canada, come see how fun a fort can be! Kids can dress up like the soldiers of the 15th Regiment or assemble an arch out of building blocks to discover why these towers were so tough. Join them every Sunday in July and August for Saint John Privateers and see if you have what it takes to be a lawful pirate of the seas during the War of 1812!  Kids and their “crew” will learn the ins and outs of naval artillery, craft their own ship’s flag, and embark on a privateer scavenger hunt. Please call to reserve your place on this family adventure. Open daily from June - October, 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
